School Counselor Outcome Report

The School Counselor Outcome Report (SCOR) is a tool designed to assist high school counselors in guiding their students through the admission process at the University of Maryland.

You should expect the initial account set up process to take at least ten business days, at a minimum. SCOR registration will open in early 2024, for the Fall 2024 freshman early action decision release. We will request feedback from all participating counselors regarding this year's process at the conclusion of the admission cycle. If you have any questions, please email us at em-scor@umd.edu.

How to Become a User

Step 1

Register

Complete the High School Counselor Registration Form. As part of your registration, you will be asked to submit a signed Data Sharing Form.

If you do not submit the form at the point of registration, you will receive an email with instructions to upload it or you may email a signed copy of the form to em-scor@umd.edu. Digital and physical signatures are accepted.

Step 2

Account Activation

Once your data sharing form has been submitted, we will activate your account and you will receive an email with a URL unique to your registration. After selecting this unique URL, you will be prompted to create your account password.

Step 3

Access the Report

Once you have completed the steps outlined above (registration, data sharing form and password set up), you will be able to access the report at any time between February 1, 2024 and May 1, 2024.

We recommend you bookmark this page for easy access. Data in the report will be updated at 8:00 a.m. ET each day and the admission decision will be listed as "pending" until the student has been notified of their decision.

Step 4

Register Again Next Year

You will be required to repeat this registration process each year you would like to access SCOR.
