Explore what it's like to #BeATerp at our Fall Open House!

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions invites prospective students and their families (up to 3 guests) to our Fall Open House on October 6, 2023. During this event, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the admission process; connect with academic departments; take a student-led campus tour; explore student activities, campus resources and more. Guests are invited to attend a Celebration of Diversity reception to close out the day. You can build the day around your own unique interests! Registration is required.

PLANNING TO ATTEND?

Throughout the event, you'll have the opportunity to create your own schedule and join sessions on a variety of topics, including:

Welcome, Maryland Information Session & Terp Talk Student Panel │Receive an overview of the day, followed by a presentation about UMD, our admission process and a panel of current students sharing their Terp experiences.

Explore Majors at UMD │Connect with representatives, explore majors and learn about opportunities within the University of Maryland’s 12 colleges and schools.

Additional Session Topics:

Campus Walking Tour │Experience UMD's campus for yourself as you are led by a student tour guide to see campus landmarks.

Information Express │Walk around our information/resource fair to ask questions and gather information from academic departments and student support services.

Celebration of Diversity | Wrap up Fall Open House with a reception to celebrate diversity across UMD. We pride ourselves on our diverse campus. We were recently ranked #1 for LGBTQ+ students by Campus Pride Index. We are proud of our student population with representation from 121 countries of origin and 50% students of color. We have a lot to celebrate!
