Fire Protection Engineering (FPE) is a unique major offered in the Clark School of Engineering for students interested in a public-safety-oriented engineering career. With 100% job placement, 50% of FPE students on department/industry scholarships, and an average career salary of $119,000, this is a major you want to check out! In this one-hour virtual information session, you will hear from a current FPE student about FPE career paths, courses in the major, and research opportunities. An academic advisor will discuss admissions pathways, and the session will end with a Q&A. Registrants will receive an email from enfp@umd.edu one week and one day prior to the session with the Zoom link.
