ENGR Tour

UMD offers the only ABET-accredited Undergraduate Program in Fire Protection Engineering (FPE) in the world! FPE students learn how to protect people, property, and the environment from fire through innovative engineering design. Graduates have a 100% job placement rate into exciting public-safety-oriented engineering careers around the globe. Join us for a one-hour tour of our department, fire research labs, and computer modeling lab. You'll meet current FPE students and an academic advisor and have a chance to get your questions answered about our on-campus and online undergraduate programs. Attending a one-hour virtual FPE information session prior to a tour is encouraged but not required.
