College Park and D.C.

Whatever your hobbies and interests, there is something for everyone in our neighborhood. We hope you join us to explore!

College Park, MD, is the home of the University of Maryland. Our growing college town offers a great variety of shops and restaurants, featuring dishes that span the globe. A popular hiker-biker trail runs right through campus and past Lake Artemesia, a great picnicking spot. Neighboring communities offer shopping malls, movie theaters and just about every other amenity you can imagine.

Just a Metro ride away, you can catch all the sights, culture, and nightlife of Washington, D.C. Check out concerts from global superstars at the Capital One Arena, catch a game featuring one of D.C.’s five major professional sports teams, explore historic Georgetown, or just stroll down the National Mall to visit one of the 11 free Smithsonian Museums and art galleries. You’re also only a half-hour MARC train ride from Baltimore and Annapolis, where you can walk along the Inner Harbor, take in an Orioles baseball or Ravens football game, and of course try our famous Maryland blue crabs.
