Registration for our on-campus special events opens approximately one to two months in advance of each event. After you register for a visit, you’ll receive a confirmation email sent to the email address used to register.

We are visiting high schools and traveling to college fairs across the country to find the next class of Terps. During these visits, you can find us to learn about Maryland, connect with an admissions representative, and get tips on completing your application. We hope to see you in your neighborhood!
Maryland Ascent Program
In this invitation only event, rising high school seniors earn hands-on help in navigating the complex world of college admissions. Over a series of sessions in the fall semester, Admissions and Financial Aid staff partner with current Maryland students and volunteers to provide motivation and practical tools for selected students taking their first steps toward a college degree. Please note that this event is by invitation only for first-generation college students from Baltimore City and Baltimore County public schools. Our next Maryland Ascent Program sessions will begin in October 2017. Registration is required and applications be available in September 2017.
Join other newly admitted Terps at one of these special receptions hosted by Maryland alumni across the country. Please note that this event is designed for high school juniors and seniors and their families. Our next Terp Bound events will be held in spring 2018. Registration is required.
